Assalamualaikum and a very good evening dear readers..
This is gonna be my first 'whatZburning' entry where i will be posting recipe that might be interesting and easy for you to follow!
As for today i made a no-bake pre/post workout snack/ healthy snack/ protein snack/ energy snack.
I also dont know what to called it.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup of muesli *or any granola cereal of your choice
1 quarter cup of oatmeal *anykind
2 handful of cashew nuts chunks *or anykind of nuts desirable
1 whole banana (medium size)
1 tablespoon of peanut butter *or to your liking
1 tablespoon of honey *or to your liking
15ml milk
15ml extra virgin olive oil
Steps:
1. Mix all the dry ingredients together.
2. Add the mash banana into the mixing bowl.
3. HOT TIP pour the milk into a measuring utensil first then put it into the mixing bowl. Next, use the same measuring utensil to measure the extra virgin olive oil. This will help to make sure the utensil will be easy to clean afterwards.
4. Add all the other liquid ingredients into the mixing bowl. Milk can be optional if you are trying to go for a diary free snacks. Im not sure about the other ingredient tho. Would there be diary in peanut butter?? Sorry im not very good at this but note that the ingredients doesnt have to be 100percent as stated above.
5. Adjust consistency to your liking if it is too mushy add more oats/granola, if it is too dry add more liquid ingredient of your choice.
6. Take an ice cream scoop and scoop it out into balls.
7. Place it in the refrigerator for 30min and you are good to eat! Enjoy!
On a side not i think if you add some cinnamon powder might be nice since it will bring out the banana flavor more. Also if you are someone who likes their snacks to be a little bit salty, I think it is okay to add a pinch of salt...
